Sample Answer 1
1. Do you like looking at yourself in the mirror? How often?
Well, I’ve been a big fan of seeing myself in the mirror and more often than not I like to use mirror to do grooming rituals or sometimes just to, you know, apply my makeup or just do a final check of myself before getting out. So basically, I suppose seeing yourself in the mirror is a must have in my everyday life.
2. Have you ever bought mirrors?
For sure. I just bought makeup mirror on the double 11 day, which is the equivalence of Black Friday and you know, it costed me around like 200 RMB. You know, it’s quite stylish and fancy featuring rose coloured and you know, there is actually a wood frame. So yeah, I’d say it’s a lovely purchase.
3. Do you usually take a mirror with you?
To be honest, I take a makeup mirror with me on a daily basis, especially when I need to reapply makeup or just put on lipstick or just to check if there is anything stuck on my teeth after lunch.
4. Would you use mirrors to decorate your room?
Without a doubt, yes. I’d say mirrors used as a decor and it’s a pretty useful decorative item. I mean, not only the mirrors can add an inviting touch to your living room or your bedroom, but also it can make your room look more spacious.
Sample Answer 2
1. Do you like looking at yourself in the mirror? How often?
Yes! I enjoy looking in the mirror before going out to check my appearance and outfit. I do it almost everyday because I care about my image in others’ eyes. Also, I find that seeing myself in the mirror can boost my confidence, especially before important events like interviews or exams.
2. Have you ever bought mirrors?
Definitely. I think a mirror is an indispensable item in my daily life as it plays a significant role for me. I used to buy different types of mirrors. Recently, I purchased a cosmetic mirror which I find particularly helpful when I am doing my makeup, since it allows me to check the finer details of my makeup application.
3. Do you usually take a mirror with you?
Not really. I don’t think it is necessary to bring a mirror with me because when I’m out and need one, public restrooms usually have mirrors available. Besides, some upscale shopping malls even have full-length mirrors in their public restrooms for customers.
4. Would you use mirrors to decorate your room?
Well, I would say no. Having one vanity mirror in the restroom and one full-length mirror in the living room is enough for me. Too many mirrors in my room could be terrifying at night, as horror movies often depict mirrors as reflecting ghosts. Therefore, I guess I prefer to use other items to decorate my room rather than mirrors.
Sample Answer 3
1. Do you like looking at yourself in the mirror? How often?
Honestly, I wouldn’t say I enjoy it. But I do look in the mirror every single day, almost out of habit, like brushing my teeth. Before heading out, I always check my hair, my outfit, just to make sure I look presentable and avoid any awkward moments.
2. Have you ever bought mirrors?
That’s for sure. Back when I lived in a dorm, I bought a small tabletop mirror for doing makeup. But to be frank, I haven’t bought one in ages cause I just don’t need many. One at home and one for going out is more than enough.
3. Do you usually take a mirror with you?
Answer 1:
Definitely. I always make sure to keep a pocket mirror with me whenever I go out. I need it to check my hair or makeup, especially after a meal, to see if there’s food stuck on my teeth. Even though my hair often gets messed up by the wind right after I fix it, it’s still part of my routine.
Answer 2:
Not really. I’m not that fussed about my appearance – out of sight, out of mind. Plus, it’s actually pretty easy to find a “mirror” when I’m out. I can check my reflection in building windows or subway station glass, use the mirrors in mall restrooms, or even just take a selfie with my phone. So a mirror isn’t really a must for me.
4. Would you use mirrors to decorate your room?
I’ve never really thought about using mirrors as decoration. To me, they’re more of a practical tool. It’s hard for me to see how they could fit into a room’s look. Plus, I’m not a fan of having too many mirrors in my bedroom, especially at night. It just feels a bit creepy.
